Product Overview:
Coconut flakes are a mixture of shredded coconut and coconut powder, commonly used as filling for pastries, mooncakes, and bread, or sprinkled on the surface of items like candied fruit and bread to enhance flavor and serve as decoration. The raw material is made by cutting coconut meat into strips or grinding it into powder, which is then processed through special drying techniques before being mixed into coconut flakes.
Naturally, coconut flakes are white in color; however, the coconut flakes commonly seen in the market have an enticing golden yellow sheen due to the addition of butter, egg liquid, white sugar, egg yolks, and other ingredients during production. While this type of coconut flakes has a richer taste, better texture, and more comprehensive nutritional value, it is also higher in calories. Therefore, it is not advisable to consume it in large quantities at once, nor should it be sprinkled on candied fruit for consumption in excess.
Solution Overview:
The coconut flakes drying dedicated fluidized bed dryer is also a horizontal fluidized bed dryer. A certain amount of air is filtered, dehumidified (optional), and heated before entering the dryer, with precise control over the inlet air temperature. The wet coconut flakes material is evenly fed into the first chamber of the fluidized bed via a feeder (equipped with a rake device to disperse agglomerated material), ensuring full contact with the hot air. After passing through the first chamber, the semi-dried product is in a loose state, which guarantees the fluidization quality throughout the drying process and meets the required dryness of the product.
At the same time, the fine powder carried by the exhaust air, after coming into contact with the material, is subject to the principle of volume expansion in the equipment. This causes the fine powder to settle at the ideal rate within the drying chamber, minimizing the fine powder content in the discharged air. The exhaust air is then treated through a cyclone separator, a bag dust collector, and a water curtain dust remover before being released into the atmosphere.
