It is a high-tech enterprise specializing in the research and development, design, manufacturing, sales, and service of carbon fiber, carbon fiber fabrics, carbon fiber prepreg, and carbon fiber composite products, with a complete industrial chain for carbon fiber and its products.

 

 I. Project Overview

 

Carbon fiber is a new type of fiber material with a carbon content of over 95%, featuring high strength and high modulus. It is composed of sheet-like graphite microcrystals and other organic fibers stacked along the fiber axial direction, which are then carbonized and graphitized to obtain microcrystalline graphite materials. Carbon fiber is "soft on the outside but strong on the inside," lighter than metal aluminum but stronger than steel, and has characteristics such as corrosion resistance and high modulus. It not only possesses the intrinsic properties of carbon materials but also has the softness and processability of textile fibers, making it a new generation of reinforcing fibers.

 

Carbon fiber materials have been widely used in various fields of military and civilian industries, including aerospace, aviation, automotive, electronics, machinery, chemical industry, textiles, sports equipment, and leisure products. Carbon fiber-reinforced composite materials can be used in military applications such as aircraft manufacturing, as well as industrial fields like wind turbine blades, electromagnetic shielding, artificial ligaments, rocket shells, motorboats, industrial robots, automotive leaf springs, and drive shafts. Carbon fiber is a typical new industrial material in the high-tech field.

 

 II. Equipment Overview

 

For the drying of carbon fiber, the challenge lies in precise and uniform control of the zonal temperature. Our engineers have conducted multiple experimental exchanges with the technical personnel of the company to achieve an ideal and satisfactory result. This carbon fiber drying system includes a horizontal three-layer drying oven, a main fan, an exhaust fan, a circulation pipeline, a thermocouple junction box, and two independent hot air circulation systems. Each temperature zone is equipped with four temperature measurement points for easy observation and adjustment by the customer.

 

 III. Engineering Principles

 

During drying, hot air is forcibly introduced from above and below the material, ensuring that the surface of each particle being dried is exposed to heat. This increases the contact area between the material and the hot air, significantly enhancing the heat transfer area and shortening the diffusion distance of moisture within the material. Consequently, this allows for highly effective drying operations, especially when the material to be dried undergoes appropriate pre-forming before drying. Therefore, choosing this series of dryers offers high stability and energy efficiency.

 

 IV. Engineering Features

 

- The airflow, heating temperature, material residence time, and feeding speed can be adjusted to achieve optimal drying results.

- The equipment configuration is flexible and can include a mesh belt washing system and a material cooling system.

- The operation is flexible: once the wet material enters the machine, the drying process occurs in a completely sealed chamber, ensuring good working conditions and preventing dust leakage.

- As the material moves along with the conveyor belt, the relative positions of the material particles remain relatively fixed, providing a consistent drying time. This is particularly suitable for drying processes that require uniform color or moisture content. Additionally, the vibration and impact on the material within the equipment are minimal, reducing the risk of particle breakage, making it suitable for drying materials that must not be crushed.

- The equipment can not only dry materials but also roast, cure, or cool them as needed.

- The unique air distribution device ensures more uniform hot air distribution, guaranteeing product quality consistency.

- The structure is simple, easy to install, and capable of long-term operation. In case of malfunction, maintenance can be carried out inside the chamber, making repairs convenient.
